Making her rounds in New York City last night, Selena Gomez was spotted on her way to the Comme des Garcons for H&M Collection Preview event, all bundled up in a black wool topcoat to chase away the October chill.

Once inside, the “Wizards of Waverly Place” babe shed her outerwear to reveal a cute and sexy black halter-style minidress overtop black stretch pants with black heels.

Recently named a spokesperson for the campaign, Selena told press, “I am extremely excited to be this year’s Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF spokesperson. I want to help encourage other kids to make a difference in the world and show them that Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF is such a great, fun way to get involved.”

Looking gorgeous in green, Selena Gomez was spotted as she headed out with her mother Mandy to catch the premiere of “Tinker Bell” at El Capitan Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday (October 19).

The animated film is directed by Bradley Raymond, telling the story of the real fairy in J.M. Barrie’s play and subsequent novel “Peter and Wendy.
“Tinker Bell” stars the voices of Kristin Chenoweth, Lucy Liu, America Ferrera, Pamela Adlon and Jeff Bennett, among others, with the movie being released on October 28th.

Joining a bevy her her celebrity pals, Selena Gomez attended the St. Jude’s 5th Annual Runway For Life Benefit in Beverly Hills on Saturday evening (October 11).

Held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel, the “Wizards of Waverly Place” sweetheart greeted and posed with her young fans before mingling with an A-list crowd including Hilary and Haylie Duff, Jaime Pressly, as well as Jennifer Love Hewitt of “Ghost Whisperer” stardom.

With 100% of the net proceeds to be donated to the St. Jude, the event is expected to bring in more than $1 million.

In related news, Miss Gomez recently took a moment to speak with press about a few topics. When asked who her role models in life are at this time, Selena replied, “First and foremost, my mom. [And Judy Garland.] I grew up watching Wizard of Oz and Somewhere Over the Rainbow was the first song I learned to sing.”

As for her life’s passion and future endeavors, the 16-year-old Disney star answered, “Music is another of my passions. I’m working on my first album for Hollywood Records. It’ll be fun dance music, out next summer, and I’ll be doing a national tour.”
