In the new issue of Esquire Magazine, heiress Paris Hilton offers up pearls of wisdom about what it’s like to be born rich, some of the best things money can buy, and growing old gracefully.

“I was the oldest granddaughter. Everyone was so excited that I was born, they would always take pictures of me. My grandma would call me Marilyn Monroe or Grace Kelly. Ever since I was little, it’s what I knew I wanted to do — be a blonde icon.”

“The best thing I’ve ever bought with money is my house. I call it my Paris Palace. It’s beautiful. Every room has beautiful crystal chandeliers and amazing moldings from Italy. When people come over they say, “Hey, this looks just like you.’”

“Having a nightclub in your house really helps for having a party, because then you don’t need to go out.”

Paris On Being A Hilton: “Because of my last name and the way I look, some people think I’m a spoiled brat. But I’m not like that at all. I’m one of the most down-to-earth people I know out of anyone in Hollywood.”

Paris On Growing Old Gracefully: “You may not be able to be hot when you’re seventy-five in a conventional sense. Like, young people won’t think you’re hot. But your husband will, and so will people your own age.”

Talking to Life & Style, Vanessa Fontana, a contestant on Paris‘ “Ny New BFF” show, revealed, “Sadly, it’s true. Paris and Benji have split. I love Paris, and I just want her to be happy. I think that they’ll be better as friends.”

Insisting that the decision to end their romance wasn’t based on rumors of Paris reuniting with ex Stavros Niachros in Miami, Miss Fontana told, “No, nobody else is involved. Paris and Benji were loyal and faithful to each other. I was with Paris in Miami, and Stavros came over to our table, and the two of them talked for literally two minutes. It was a friendly conversation. They definitely did not hook up.”

The “Hottie and the Nottie” starlet looked sexy and confident as she made her way inside, sporting a pink and black sleeveless printed dress with black heels.

In a recent interview, Paris revealed her disdain for her lack of privacy.  “I try to sometimes travel… I’ll wear a wig and I try to go unnoticed, but it doesn’t ever work. No matter what country I go to, people recognize me and know who I am.”

She also sang the praises of her boyfriend Benji Madden, noting that he’s the only one who has treated her right.  “Every other guy I’ve been out with has used me for money or sex – but in most cases they just want fame. It made it hard to trust people.”

It seems Miss Hilton’s boyfriend Benji Madden had already flown home, after spending just 24 hours with her.  But that didn’t stop the “Stars are Blind” songstress from showing some love to her fans.

As for a possible future wedding with Mr. Madden, Hilton told press she’s thinking storybook-style.  “I think girls always dream about their wedding. So when I do get married I definitely want it to be like a fairytale wedding. Like Cinderella!  I am really happy and really in love right now. Me and Benji just had out seven-month anniversary but I don’t know about a wedding just yet. We will see.”

Held in honor of Diesel’s 30th anniversary in the world of fashion, the “My New BFF” babe smilingly posed on the red carpet alongside a fellow blonde partygoer (possibly a new BFF?).
Treated to an evening of music, the night’s bill included hip Brit acts such as Big Pink, Filthy Dukes, Fresh, Kitty, Daisy and Lewis, Patrick Wolf, Plastic Little, Supergrass, and Tayo.

The “Hottie and the Nottie” actress and her rock star boyfriend were having a great time mingling outside the Ed Sullivan Theatre signing autographs and posing for pictures.

Earlier in the day, Paris was hounded with questions when she wore a new two-banded diamond ring on her left-hand ring finger.  But it turns out it wasn’t that kind of ring.

She told press, “No, it’s just a present.  He’s sweet.  We want to stay together forever.” And it sounds like they’ve already approached the topic of an upcoming wedding.

Hilton said, “I wouldn’t do a Vegas [wedding].  I don’t know where or when but I do want it to be romantic.” And when it comes to kids, the “Stars are Blind” singer says she’s eager to get started.

“Nicole [Richie] is our first friend to have a baby… Seeing Harlow, it really makes me want one.  I’ve always wanted to have a baby.
